  • How can e-books evolve?

The future of e-books requires the implementation of a coordinated network for annotation--perhaps similar to the one Dan Whaley at hypothes.is is building. Perhaps more like to Bob Stein's SocialBook experiment.

Once coordinated and standardized, annotation just may become the Internet's best enabling technology. More valuable than WordPress, more ubiquitous than Twitter, stickier than porn.
